ABSTRACT
The problem faced by entrepreneurs of small and medium food industry, especially fried chicken industry in Bangkinang, Kampar Regency was a large number of used cooking oil (approximately 40-100%). The main purpose of science and technology program for the community (IbM) was implementation of adsorption-filtration prototype to process. The method used in adsorption-filtration process that was by soaking the used cooking oil into active zeolite for 3 days. Oil recycling characteristics that was produced after processing approach the standard value of cooking oil in SNI 01-3741-2013. Adsorption-filtration prototype equipment which has been designed and built by team which can be used in the processing of used cooking oil to cope with the amount of used cooking oil discharges on fried chicken industry. In addition, IbM partners can understand and implement the used cooking oil processing activities based on the dissemination of information and training and instructions module that given by team.
